PSSD ucd vet student
mentorship program
PSSD is partners with the Veterinarians as One Inclusive Community for Empowerment (VOICE) chapter at the UC Davis veterinary school! This mentorship program gives undergraduate students a chance to make connections and ask questions to current vet students. Every mentee is selectively matched with a vet student that can guide and answer specific questions. Topics can include vet school applications, gap years, what life in vet school can be like, etc.! As pre-vet students ourselves, we understand that pursuing veterinary medicine and applying to vet school can seem intimidating. The Vet Student Mentorship Program aims to help provide advice and resources for undergraduate students from vet students (who went through the whole process before!).
By matching undergraduate mentees with vet students, we provide mentorship where you can freely communicate with your mentors and cater towards your needs!
