What does volunteering at KLOHC involve?
KLOHC is a 3 part program that includes a pre-vet class, committee membership, and clinic volunteering. Volunteers will have a 3-quarter long commitment (Fall 2016-Spring 2017, AND Summer 2016 if you are available), are expected enroll in a FAP92/192 course, and will be directly involved with Knights Landing One Health Vet Clinic by volunteering at clinic hours during and outside of the clinic. Class is every Monday (6:10 PM - 7:00 PM) and clinic is every 3rd Sunday of the month in Knight's Landing, CA. Carpools are available. Schedule conflicts with either the pre-vet class time or the clinic hours will not affect your selection. Selection is COMPETITIVE.
- You MUST be a Pre-vet Students Supporting Diversity (PSSD) club member to participate in the Knights Landing Clinic! To access a PSSD membership form, please visit this link.
